When the Company was founded in 1917, we transported general cargo such as coal. In the latter half of the 1950s, we anticipated changes in fuel demand and began the operation of oil tankers and LPG carriers in 1965. With the development of the petrochemical industry, we subsequently began the transportation of chemical products; we also advanced to cement transportation essential for infrastructure development to serve as a provider of comprehensive domestic marine transportation.
